Welcome to the page about the CONTACT life science job fair, the heart of our association!

CONTACT is the most successful life science job fair in the Rhine-Neckar region. It takes place annually at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg. Since the founding of our association BioContact e.V., we have already successfully organized 22 job fairs and have continuously expanded our range of services for fair visitors and companies.

The fair offers a diverse spectrum of more than 30 exhibitors from different sectors such as biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, health care, publishing and consulting. From well-known global players to regional companies and innovative start-ups, every company size is represented here. Take the opportunity to talk directly to company representatives about career opportunities, entry-level positions and everyday working life, and make your first personal contacts in a relaxed atmosphere.

The aim of CONTACT is to show visitors a wide range of career prospects and bring them closer to their dream job. The job wall provides an initial overview of current job vacancies and current trends. In addition to the classic exhibition booths, there are numerous opportunities to find out more about the companies and to prepare specifically for starting a career. The outstanding fair program includes numerous presentations, workshops, trade fair preparation courses, application portfolio checks and the opportunity to have high-quality application portraits taken by a photographer. At the panel discussion, company representatives share their valuable experience on a vibrant topic and provide participants with important knowledge and new perspectives. An ever increasing amount of our events are held in English.

CONTACT2024 marked a successful continuation of the CONTACT Job Fair series, bringing together a diverse range of exhibitors from biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, publishing, and consulting. Held at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg on April 17, 2024, the fair served as a dynamic platform for networking and knowledge-sharing.
